All dogs must be licensed at the age of five months. The license year runs from January 1st through December 31st. Licenses for the year are generally available by the third week in December. Any license not purchased by March 31st, for that calendar year, will be charged a late fee of $50.00, with the only exception being a new dog. The license fee is $10.00 for spayed or neutered dogs and $15.00 for non-spayed or non-neutered dogs. Proof of rabies vaccination is required in order to license your dog.
Anyone owning 4 or more dogs must apply for a kennel license each year. The application is due by March 31st of each year. The cost each year for the application is $40 (which is non refundable)and the cost for the annual license is $35.00. The kennel license covers up to 12 dogs. There is a $3 fee for each additional dog.
